It has the best-preserved delta in Europe - Crossing the south of Romania, the Danube forms an amazing delta before flowing into the Black Sea. The Danube Delta is home to 23 natural ecosystems, and from April to September, is home to over 300 bird species that come to life on the delta channels and lakes.


The largest Gothic church in Romania - The Black Church of Bra is unique in Eastern Europe, being the largest Gothic church between Vienna and Istanbul. Partially destroyed by fire in 1689, the walls of the church deepened, and hence the church received its name. Inside, you can admire a magnificent Bucholz organ and the largest collection of oriental carpets in Europe.

An underground glacier is hidden here - The Scoriora Glacier can be found under the Bihor Mountains and is the second-largest underground glacier in Europe. With a volume of 75,000 cubic meters, the glacier has been in existence for over 3,500 years.

An entire village is on display in a museum - The Astra Museum of Folk Civilization is an open-air museum located next to Sibiu, displaying more than 300 traditional houses, watermills, windmills, wine, fruit and oil, huge presses for stables and barns, which give a traditional walking feeling to the visitors. The museum is also the second-largest outdoor museum in the world.

A unique waterfall is hidden in Carpathian, Romania - The Bigair Waterfall, located in the Anina Mountains, was included at the top of the world geography of unique waterfalls surrounding geology, thanks to the strange way that waterfalls into small streams on covered rocks.
