Many brands, new and old are finding ways to interact with customers via Instagram community and promote and widen their brand But, to grow a strong following of customers, you should get your products and brand seen by most people. This article is about how you can promote your brand on Instagram.

First, create a business profile which will be separate from your personal profile. This profile will strictly contain posts of your products or anything related to the brand. The key to creating an Instagram account is to stay recognizable. Choose an Instagram name that is same as your business name. Keep a consistent profile picture, preferably the company logo. This must be easily recognizable and professional as all interactions and engagement will be based on this picture.

Next, come up with a short, crisp and informative bio. Include your company name and a description of what the company is about. Create an interesting bio that will appeal to your target Instagram community and avoid a salesman tone. Avoid cheap filters or extravagant decorations so that the main focus is not lost.

Give offers and exclusive discounts to followers. Promote events and share location by geo-tagging to let customers know where they should physically go to find your products. Include hashtags to widen your discoverability. Don t use a lot of hashtags as it only clutters your post and gives a salesman vibe. Use one which goes with your brand or up to five, but in captions. Search for the trending tags and incorporate them in your posts. Or you can make your own hashtag which is unique to your brand.
