Cooking is the most versatile kind of art. The way we cook speaks plenty about our background, culture, and more. While eating feeding could be a necessity to survive for all species, only men endeavor to remodel food into something more. But before becoming culinary artists, we must learn and master basic cooking methods first. These commonly used cooking methods may be divided into two general groups. -Dry heat cooking methods -Moist heat cookery methods.

Dry Heat Cookery Methods- 1. Baking- In baking, the food is baked using convection heat. The food is put into an internal area where heat is then applied and therefore the movement of warmth within the confined space, acts on the food to cook it through.


2. Grilling- Grilling could be a kind of cooking that involves dry heat applied to the surface of food, commonly from above or below. Grilling usually involves a big amount of direct, radiant heat, and tends to be used for cooking meat quickly.

3. Microwaving- Microwaving is cooking food in an exceeding kitchen appliance. It is often quicker and more convenient than equivalent methods like boiling or baking. Many vegetables, as an example, maybe microwaved rather than boiled or steamed.

Moist Heat Cookery Methods- 1.Boiling This is the foremost common method of cooking. With this method of cooking, enough water is added to food and it is then cooked overheat.

2. Barbequing- The method of cooking food by barbequing is sometimes related to parties and picnics. The food is sometimes marinated with spices and tenderizers for a few times before it is cooked. The key to a delicious barbeque is the precise mixture of time and temperature.

3. Blanching- Blanching could be a cooking process where the food, usually a vegetable or fruit, is scalded in boiling water, removed after a short interval, and at last plunged into iced water to halt the cooking process.
