War is a 2019 action-thriller film, produced under Yash Raj Films production banners. Directed by Sidharth Anand, the winner of the Filmfare Award. He has also directed the amazing blockbuster films like Salam Namaste- 2005, Ta Ra Rum Pum- 2007, Bachna Ae Hasino- 2008, Anjana Anjani- 2010, Bang Bang- 2014, and War- 2019.
The film starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. The film was written by Abbas Tyrewala, produced by Aditya Chopra, cinematography by Benjamin Jasper. The film hit the cinemas on 2 October 2019 with a record of the highest opening day collection in India.

It is a story of patriot soldier Khalid who has been given the responsibility to stop the rogue spy Kabir. Kabir is one step further to Khalid even he trained him. Then the cat-mouse chase begins and turns into a war between the two super fierce agents.
Khalid wants to remove the stane as the son of a mole. He does every possible task to impress his mentor Kabir. While Kabir hardly believes anyone about his missions. Aashutosh Rana essayed an under pressure security agency chief. Some turn and twists come after the interval.
Production design has been done on a very large scale. War takes you on a world tour. War covers almost seven countries in chasing scenes. On the other hand, Aditya Chopra did not provide a love interest to Khalid which resulted in a warm bonding of Khalid and Kabir.
Despite some plot holes War best scrolls on action craft with good performance of two leading men. Of course, it is worth a watch.
