Guilty very effectively manages to show social behavior towards rape victims, how difficult it is for a rape victim to rise for justice in patriarchal societies, and the way often even the near and dear ones stop believing and begin blaming the victim. It also shows how rich and powerful people are ready to manipulate the system and take benefit of poor laws and society overall apathy towards rape. How the MeToo movement has on the one hand given voice to rape victims and on the other hand sensationalized an awfully sensitive topic. It will be a worthy watch.
