How many times have you stared at the different locations in Bollywood movies and wondered where they are? Have you ever thought why you have not been to these place? There are many such locations which have become a tourist spot overnight. These places were previously unknown and now they have become famous just overnight. Inclusion of such places in some famous Bollywood scenes, have made these places famous spots.

Fort Aguada in Goa is a popular shooting destination in North Goa. The place is best known for its amazing waterfalls, beautiful churches, and beaches. Several Bollywood movies have been shot here which include Rangeela, Dhoom, Honeymoon Travels and Dil Chahta Hai. The brick walls are quite famous which overlook the ocean.


Hadimba Mandir in Manali had caught the fancy of several filmmakers. This is a beautiful place with gushing rivers, oak trees, mystic peaks, and a lot more. In the recent times, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Yeh Jawaani Ha Deewani was shot here. The place is now a popular tourist destination. This movie gave Manali a much-needed tourism boost. Rohtang Paas in Himachal Pradesh is another popular spot where several scenes have been shot. The high altitude region is the perfect place for all bike enthusiasts as well.

Udaipur Palace in Rajasthan can also be seen in many movies. The palace offers stunning visuals and exudes extraordinary royalty. Some of the most famous movies like Ram Leela and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani have been shot here. Due to this reason, the palace has become one of the most popular tourist or wedding destinations. People simply love to visit the place to soak into the royalty of the place.

The beautiful Munnar Tea plantations in Kerala are also a popular tourist spot. The tea plantation has been the shooting spot for several song and dance sequences. Bollywood is now waking up to such natural beauties of Tea plantations and the magnificent fountains. Several movies like Chennai and Nishabd, along with Life of Pi were shot in these destinations of South India.

Pangong Lake in Ladakh has always been a popular shooting spot of Bollywood. The serene water and the breath-taking beauty of the place has been captured in several Bollywood movies. Today, the place is another tourist hotspot visited by hundreds of people each year.

The Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur is also a popular spot and the location of several Bollywood movies. Several movies were shot in this iconic place which made it a tourism hot-spot as well.
