Bahrain, the third-smallest country in Asia, is considered to be the country where Arab and Persian societies coincided. Situated in the Persian Gulf, this country has no borders with any other country. The name given to the country determines two seas, which makes reason because Bahrain is one of the greatest beaches in the world.
Fact 1 - The Kingdom relations with the United Kingdom, the first country to discover petroleum in 1932, found real closeness that led Britain to remove its British Imperial Navy from Iran to the Kingdom in 1935.
Fact 2 - Bahrain pear trail - labeled as Pearling, an island economy testimony by UNESCO - is considered to be the last remaining heritage of the states cultural tradition of pearls that pearl divers used in the 1930s till the beginning.
Fact 3 - Seeking to connect with neighboring countries, the King of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement in 1981 to begin construction of the King Fahd Causeway, which was officially opened in 1986.
Fact 4 - The Qatar Bahrain Aceway - aka Friendship Bridge - was approved for construction in 2005, with another linkage Causeway between Bahrain and Qatar. However, due to some financial turmoil, the exact date by which the bridge was completed will not be identified.
Fact 5 - For a country that does not receive less rain, the existence of The Tree of Life will come as a surprise. A 400 years old tree that does not have any source of water and standing alone in the desert. This tree has become an attraction for 50,000 tourists every year.
